Message from Louise Re: Retirement!

On June 29, I will wrap over nine rewarding years with ICG 669.  I am pleased to hand over the responsibilities of our professional development / technical training and safety rep position to Michelle Yardley. Michelle will be transitioning with me during the month of June, so feel free to contact either of us during that time.
 

DGC BC is Hiring!

The Directors Guild of Canada, BC District Council (DGC BC) is a labour organization representing key creative and logistical personnel in the film and television industry in British Columbia. The DGC BC Collective Agreement covers Directors, 2nd Unit Directors, Production Management, Assistant Director and Locations Departments, as well as Production Assistants. The BC film and television industry has grown, and the DGC BC is now expanding their team, and is currently looking to hire for three positions:
  • Assistant Business Agent
  • Administrative Assistant

Memorial for Brother Pierre Rouger

A Memorial date of April 8th has been set for Brother Pierre Rouger. The service will take place at the Lion's Club on Salt Spring Island. 

Pierre's family is asking if anyone has any stories or anecdotes they would like to share to please contact the family via email.
